Bad Experience With International Van Lines

I am writing this review to share my experience with International Van Lines and provide a warning. Two separate companies delivered my things three months later claiming it was lost. They offered me $300 to make it go away. I am a disabled veteran and I have never been taken advantage of like this. In April 2022, I entrusted them with the task of moving my belongings from Florida to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the service I received was far from satisfactory.
The move resulted in significant damage to my possessions. My television, a crucial source of entertainment and relaxation, was broken. A lamp, which once added charm to my living space, was destroyed to the point where only the base was left intact.
The damage did not stop at these items. Essential pieces of my bedroom furniture, including my box spring and mattress, were ruined. The comfort and rest that my bed once provided were compromised, leaving me with the task of finding replacements.
My refrigerator, a major appliance and a significant investment, was dented. This not only affects the aesthetic appeal but could potentially impact its functionality. My office chair, an essential part of my home office setup, was ripped, affecting both its comfort and appearance.
The overall experience with International Van Lines was disheartening. The move, instead of being a smooth transition, turned into a source of stress and financial strain due to the need to replace or repair the damaged items.
I hope my experience serves as valuable feedback for International Van Lines to improve their service. For potential customers, I recommend thorough research and consideration before choosing a moving service.

In response to my initial review, International Van Lines reached out to me, ostensibly to "resolve the matter." However, what ensued was a disappointing display of unprofessionalism and intimidation tactics that only served to exacerbate my frustration and disappointment.
After contacting them as per their request, I received a phone call that veered sharply from any semblance of resolution. Instead of addressing my grievances or offering genuine solutions, I was met with threats of legal action if I did not remove my review.
This sudden shift in attitude is both alarming and indicative of their true priorities. It appears that International Van Lines' initial response to my review was merely an attempt to save face and mitigate public scrutiny. However, their subsequent actions have laid bare their disregard for customer satisfaction and their willingness to resort to coercion rather than accountability.
As a consumer who has endured the consequences of their incompetence and negligence, I refuse to be silenced or intimidated into retracting my honest assessment of their services. My review stands as a warning to others who may be considering International Van Lines for their relocation needs.
In light of their unprofessional behavior and apparent disregard for ethical business practices, I urge prospective customers to exercise caution and explore alternative options. It is my hope that by sharing this update, others will be spared the distress and inconvenience that I have experienced at the hands of International Van Lines.
