Bad Experience in Prime Line VanLines LLC

Would give zero stars if possible. We paid $726.00 for a contract for them to move belongings out of a Virginia apartment on 5/19/24. We spoke to Monte the night before on 5/18/24 and asked what time the movers would come on the agreed date of 5/19/24 and he said he didn't have a specific time yet and will contact us in the morning to confirm. We called Monte numerous times on the morning of 5/19/24 beginning at 8am because we drove out there from New Jersey specifically for this move.

There was no answer for at least 2 hours. We finally reached him and he claims he "was in church" and couldn't pick up his phone. Knowing we came from out of town for this move he had no concern to call us first thing in the morning to confirm a time. He then says he has to drive to the office to find out from dispatch when the movers will come and he'd call back in an hour. 

He calls back 20min later to give us a customer service number to call, we called it and there was a recording saying they're closed on Sundays. I called Monte right back 4 times and he never answered. I called right away again from a different number and he picked right up saying he was handling another claim and couldn't pick up. He then puts his manager, Jordan, on the phone and he has an attitude saying they're only sales people and have nothing to do with setting up the time and complained because we kept calling Monte. I advised Jordan that Monte has been our only point of contact and no one advised us he was only the salesman. 

Jordan says he will contact dispatch to confirm a time and they will call us back "ASAP". By this time it was already 2pm and we were supposed to already be on the road back to NJ. I asked if they don't contact him back in 15 minutes to please call me back, he agreed. That was the last time I spoke to anyone. We continuously called them back for the next 4hrs and they never picked up nor returned our calls leaving us high and dry with no movers and making a trip to VA for nothing. Today is 5/20/24 and still no call back. 

We wish we listened to the negative reviews on here, save your money and beware!Interesting how all of the "positive" reviewers have only 1 review for their history. SCAM and FAKES, you will lose your money dealing with these scammers.
